Vaught Receives Endorsement from the Fraternal Order of Police, Coastal Carolina Lodge 12

Yesterday, Johnny Vaught received the endorsement of the Fraternal Order of Police, Coastal Carolina Lodge 12, in the upcoming election next week on November 4. Vaught had this to say… “I am humbled to have received their support and will fight every day to ensure they have the necessary tools to get the job done. They are our front line, and I am blessed to have their support in this election. Over the past year, whether from attending countless County Council meetings and learning about the position or visiting with you on your porches and in your homes, a consistent theme emerges: public safety is a huge priority in Horry County.”

Vaught went on to elaborate on the critical role public safety plays in local government. “Unlike much in government these days, public safety is a core government function, which makes our dedication toward improvements paramount for our citizens. Many areas are viewed under the umbrella of public safety, such as ISO fire ratings, crime prevention, investments in tools to help combat crime, and purchasing fire trucks. Know this: I hear the outcry from you about public safety and am fully focused on it. As I’ve said from the beginning of this campaign, when I am on County Council, public safety will always be a top priority of mine.”

Vaught closed with… “Our citizens deserve to feel safe in their community and our Police and Fire Departments deserve good equipment to better do their jobs. We can do better. Our citizens deserve better.”
